The structure

A repeatable, pre-engineered structure.

Instead of assembling floor, wall and roof framing as separate systems on site, Modtruss homes are built around repeatable, pre-engineered timber truss components that integrate all three.

The result is a home structure that is coordinated before it leaves the facility, simpler for your builder to assemble, and designed around a raised timber floor. The underlying structural system is employed under licence.

How the system works
Two package levels

Lock-Up or Complete. You choose how far we go.

Modtruss Lock-Up

The engineered structure, roof, windows and external doors: everything needed to take your home to a secure, weather-tight stage. Your builder completes the interior.

Modtruss Complete

Everything in Lock-Up plus insulation, linings, internal doors, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, tiling and hot water, coordinated as one package for your builder to install.

Modtruss supplies the home package. You appoint your builder. Package supply price only. Site works, approvals, construction and other exclusions apply.

    Confirm planning, access, engineering and site requirements. Need help? We can refer you to Mainsave Projects.

    Confirm

    Review your selected home, package, site details and delivery requirements, and pay your deposit.

  5. 05

    Engineer

    Site-specific structural requirements are confirmed before manufacture.

  6. 06

    Prepare

    Your coordinated Modtruss package is manufactured, sourced and prepared.

  7. 07

    Deliver

    The package is dispatched through the appropriate regional facility.

  8. 08

    Build

    Your appropriately licensed builder constructs your Modtruss home on site.

Timber sits at the heart of Modtruss. We use engineered timber efficiently and source it from managed and regrown forestry resources where possible.

Forestry certifications (e.g. FSC/PEFC), chain-of-custody and embodied-carbon information will be published once confirmed with suppliers.

Not sure if your site is ready?

Planning controls, site conditions, access, services and engineering can affect what can be built on a particular property. Modtruss does not include town planning, development approval or project-management services within its standard home packages. Independent assistance is available through Mainsave Projects for customers who need help assessing a property, coordinating consultants or navigating the approval process.
